Genocide Is Turkey's Foreign Policy
A prescient October 23, 2020 Verses News article I wrote, along with updates
The ultimate contradiction in EU & NATO policy can be encapsulated by comparing and contrasting Russia and Turkey. The flashpoint being Nagorno-Karabakh and the victims again being the Armenians. I wrote about this problem back in 2020 when the Azerbaijan attacked Armenia. You want to tell me that this was an illegitimate border? What are you, some Soviet apologist? That the USSR’s borders were somehow sacrosanct and that ethnic warfare wasn’t a premeditated tool of Soviet policy? You want to codify that and keep it immutable? I’d care about that unprincipled position more if it was acquired pre-Feb 24, 2022. But for those who dare espouse this position after what has transpired over the last few years, I can only say that they are NPCs and that Doublethink has utterly shredded their ability to think rationally.

My article proposes the following Theses:
Turkey has always been a genocidal state and has much in common with Nazi Germany. It is at war with Christian Europe, and Azerbaijan is its proxy war weapon.
My 2023 commentary since: Since Russia has a role as peacekeeper in the region, the US considers it in its strategic interest to stoke conflict in the Caucasus. Israel supports Azerbaijan because there are 10k Jews who live there. They had no problem selling drones to Azerbaijan to use to genocide Armenians. I wrote a letter to a prominent SF rabbi in 2020 asking why the SF Jewish community hasn’t spoken out in protest to the renewed Turkish efforts to genocide Armenians. Didn’t even get a response.
Turkstream circumvention via an Azerbaijani pipeline could break Russian gas supply dominance in Europe.
Turkey is a broke, low-tech country that commercially benefits from proximity to Europe. They are resource and asset hungry, in addition to having low productivity and entrepreneurial drive. They are also militaristic. That means they want resources. There is no other path to economic growth for them. The only thing preventing Azerbaijani-Turkish unification are those pesky Armenians. Genocide is part of the business plan.
Turkey tries to play Russia and NATO off each other. It has no allies. Cooperation is just expedience.
Whether it’s shooting down Russian jets (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Russian_Sukhoi_Su-24_shootdown), assassinating Russian ambassadors (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassination_of_Andrei_Karlov), being part of NATO and therefore waging war against Russia, and of course waging genocidal war against Armenia via ethnic Turkish proxies (Azerbaijanis are a Turkic ethnic group)(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azerbaijanis)—never mind the demographic invasion of Europe with weaponized ‘refugees’ from the Islamic world—Turkey is at total war with all its neighbors. At the same time, Turkey has purchased Russian weapon systems which has disqualified it from buying F-35s, and they’ve increased their exports to Russia since the start of the Ukraine war. For Turkey to realize its ambitions, both Russia and NATO need to be weakened.
Turkey is being used to break the international order.
The War against Russia (ie WW3) started in 2022, but its seeds were sown in 2014. The justification is that Russia is DIFFERENT from all other countries. Different from a Turkey that genocided all the Greeks out of Anatolia a mere lifetime ago. Different from a Poland that gladly absorbed a quarter of neighboring Germany and genocided the ethnic Germans that lived there. If WW2 is the reset for borders, if you are going to pretend to moralize about the Palestinians, then you must also recognize that Muslims have colonized Europe with far more aggression and violence than anything Israel ever did on land it purchased from former Syrian and Palestinian landowners pre-1917 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balfour_Declaration). Turkey is being used as a weapon to destroy ethnic nationalities by squirting millions of Muslims into the uterus of Europe. Who benefits? As usual, The Borg. NATO uses Turkey as a cudgel/antagonist against its enemies even though Turkey attacks Europe too. That is evidence that governments are being run by the elite at the expense of the people (you might love jumping to this conclusion, but it’s not persuasive. You need to show your work, just as you did in math class). It is not a coincidence that anti-Enlightenment Turkey is being used by anti-Enlightenment forces in the West to destroy Enlightenment remnants that could otherwise oppose The Borg.
As a side point, moral panics never spread to apply their logic to all areas. Moral panics are used to break institutions that would prevent total conformity to Power’s Agenda. IE: Moral panics are always weapons that the Elites use to weaken resistance to the Elite Agenda. For example, Woke as an ideology cannot and will not apply its own logic to itself, for that is the contradiction which undermines its very foundation (ie, that ‘Woke’ as an ideology is expressly racist and possesses a worldview remarkably similar to Nazi Germany, with only some of the folk-demons/villains swapped out… both hate Jews for example). This moral panic over Russia does not apply to Turkey. The moral panic over Trump’s perceived improprieties does not apply to the caught-red-handed bribery and treason of Joe Biden. The quest to find a hero and villain in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the participation of Russia as peacekeeper, means the American Empire’s agenda is clear: Russia bad. Russian allies bad. That means Armenia. The moral panic here is therefore not about genocide, rather it is about Russia. If the moral panic was about genocide, then Turkey, Ukraine, the Baltic States, and others would be in the narrative crosshairs. Because the moral panic is about Russia, we can safely pretend that the enemy of my enemy is my ally. Therefore Turkey’s agenda goes undetected by otherwise more clever people.
The fact that the essay resists a concentrated thesis is evidence of how complex the political dynamics are between Turkey, Russia, and NATO/EU.
You would think GAVI would or should be working in turkey, long 9ver due.
